Conectionists |
CONNECTIONISTS is a moderated mailing list for discussion of technical issues relating
to neural computation, and dissemination of professional announcements such as calls
for papers, book announcements, and electronic preprints.
CNS |
The list is primarily intended to spread information on CNS: the new Computational
Neuroscience Organization and the yearly CNS meeting. We will use this list to mail
information which we do not want to send to regular mailing lists.
CompNeuro |
This moderated list is intended to address the broad range of research approaches
and issues involved in the general field of computational neuroscience. It is intended
to allow interactions between experimental and theoretical neurobiologists along with
computer scientists, bioinformaticians, engineers, cognitive scientists, physicists,
and mathematicians interested in understanding how biological neural systems work.
COLT |
The COLT mailing list is a moderated electronic mailing list created to serve the
Computational Learning Theory research community. Typical postings might include
announcements relevant to COLT, general queries, discussions, short abstracts of
recent work, etc.
CogPsy |
CogPsy is an edited discussion list for researchers in all areas of cognitive science.
CNS Newsletter |
A monthly newsletter designed to update CNS members on events, job opportunities,
and related information in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience.
ALife |
A list for announcements related to the field of Artificial Life and the International Society for ALife (ISAL).
BioSci |
BIOSCI promotes communication between professionals in the biological sciences.
All postings to the newsgroups should be made in that spirit. While the general
public may "listen in" to the discussions, these newsgroups are intended primarily
for communications between researchers. There are other forums on Usenet such as
sci.bio.misc for the asking and answering of biological questions from lay persons.
BABEL |
Members of BABEL are entitled to access the BABEL directories and email newsgroup.
These are used as a repository for the latest contributions by GENESIS users and
developers. These include new simulations, libraries of cells and channels, additional
simulator components, new documentation and tutorials, bug reports and fixes, and
the posting of questions and hints for setting up GENESIS simulations. As the results
of GENESIS research simulations are published, many of these simulations are being
made available through BABEL.

Neuron |
NEURON user's group.
Auditory |
Provides information about and related to the AUDITORY list, an email list for the
discussion of organizational aspects of auditory perception.
